Welcome!
There are many reasons we seek counselling throughout life. Perhaps you’re experiencing anxiety, low mood or depression. You may be going through a difficult break-up, struggling to cope with loss or battling addictions. You may feel strange or that something just isn’t right! The spectrum of personal difficulties is vast, but there is no need to go through it alone.
Some of us feel we must toughen up or just get on with it and we end up closing off from ourselves and others. Sometimes we create masks or pretend we’re someone we’re not, we tell others that everything is fine when deep down, we are truly suffering. When we avoid these parts of ourselves, it often builds and intensifies leading to more unhelpful coping strategies and unhappiness.
Whatever it is you bring to counselling, I offer a confidential, non-judgemental and compassionate space to explore, uncover and unpack what is going on for you. Find out more about counselling here.
About me
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor working in private practice in Chippenham & Bristol. I hold a full clinical membership with UKCP and abide by their professional and ethical framework. Before my private practice, I worked as a counsellor at Bristol Mind and the BCPC low-cost service. I attained an advanced level 6 (DipHIC) qualification in humanistic and integrative counselling from the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC). You can read more about me here.
I work face-to-face from Pew House in Chippenham and Sycamore House in East Bristol. I also do online sessions.
